Beer created on: June 13, 2001

Louis Bariteau, also known as Lamarche (1647-1745), who arrived in New France on June 19th 1665. He was a soldier in the Carignan-Salières regiment of Fort-Chambly.  He married Mary Vara in the parish of St-Joseph de Chambly in 1671. He settled with one gun, one cow on five acres of land.
